Our Nissan specific CNC machined stem and loop is made of 4130 steel. The stem is black zinc coated for corrosion resistance. The loop is powder coated Gray (Blue, Black, and Red are available). This is not a universal tow hook. The stem was specifically designed for the Z/370Z and the length was carefully determined to fit the front bumper. Both the stem and bolt threads are pre-coated with Vibra-tite threadlocker. This keeps your tow hook from loosening due to vibration. May not fit correctly or is difficult to fit on.
Would not advise buying. It wouldn’t fit with the o ring nor with the old one, it would only go in with no o ring. So I had to put back my old hinge and o ring. Edit: I had to add coolant to the O ring, along with somewhat forcing/prying it in in order to get it to fit flush.

Quick solution to replace that OEM Plastic Mount in your BMW E90
Effective Upgrade: After installation, I have experienced no leaks, which is a significant improvement for my vehicle.
Quality Material: The aluminum construction feels durable and sturdy, offering a long-lasting solution compared to the original fitting.
Cons:
The installation process was a bit tricky. The holes didn't line up perfectly, making it a challenge to fit. While there was no need for drilling, finding the right angle to fit it required some patience and effort. Wider holes could have made the installation easier. I rate it 4 stars because of that.
Despite the challenging installation, the Aluminum Water Hose Fitting Upgrade is a worthwhile investment for anyone experiencing leaks. The improved performance and durability make it a recommended upgrade for BMW E90 owners.
