MAINTENANCE NEEDS: High Maintenance. Pests and diseases can be a problem. Potential disease problems include leaf spot, bacterial canker, brown rot, black knot, crown gall, leaf curl, leaf scorch, powdery mildew, root rot, scab and shot-hole fungus.
