A key safety feature is the 48-inch offset, which creates a "Play Safe" area by extending the backboard four feet away from the pole. This distance significantly reduces the risk of player-to-post collisions during fast-paced layups or rebounds.

The system includes a 72-inch by 42-inch rectangular perforated aluminum backboard. The perforated design is particularly effective in high-wind areas, as it allows air to pass through the board, reducing strain on the mounting hardware and post.
