For increased durability, Extreme Protection Technology (XPT) is engineered inside the tool for increased resistance to water and dust and improved operation in harsh jobsite conditions. It's part of Makita's expanding 18-Volt Lithium-Ion series, the world's largest cordless tool line-up powered by an 18-Volt lithium-ion slide-style battery. Makita 18-Volt Lithium-Ion batteries have the fastest charge times in their categories, so they spend more time working and less time sitting on the charger. For improved tool performance and extended battery life, Makita created Star Protection Computer Controls. Good quality good price.
At under $10/qt for high quality marine full synthetic, this is one of the best deals on Amazon. Other marine oils are upwards of $20/qt where I live and having twin outboards that require a total of 8.5qts each every change, that is a real savings. The other great thing about this oil is it’s packaging. The shape of the container and the pull out spout make it easy to pour. I don’t need to use a funnel with these and I didn’t spill a drop.

High quality oil
Liquid moly oil is great stuff. I bought this for my Honda 9.9 outboard. I’m sure non marine grade oil would have been fine, but for the price and quality of this oil why not use it.
