Pokémon’s 30th anniversary gets its first major commemorative collectible in Simplified Chinese with First Partner Special Illustration Card Set Vol. 1 — a display-focused release built around the moment every journey begins: choosing your first partner.

Each set includes 1 random Special Illustration holo card from a lineup of 9 brand-new cards, featuring the starter trios from Kanto (Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle), Sinnoh (Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup), and Alola (Rowlet, Litten, Popplio).

The artwork is packed with game-inspired details and nostalgia cues, and the three starters from the same region can be placed side-by-side to form a single panoramic scene — turning completion into a true display goal.

To support the display concept, each box also includes a custom acrylic magnetic card display frame. It can mount on metal surfaces and magnet-connect horizontally, making it easy to build a clean, continuous regional lineup on your shelf or wall.

RED & BLACK PANTS BLEED WHEN DRY AND WILL RUIN WHATEVER THEY TOUCH

These are very cute and flattering pants, but the first I wore them they turned everything they touched pink. The tops of my sneakers where they touched are now pink. The case of my cell phone that I slipped into my back pocket is now permanently pink. Apparently this is called “crocking” and occurs because there is a heavy excess of "unbound" dye on the surface of the fibers that was never properly rinsed or set during manufacturing. To fix this, I’ll have to go through a two-step process to strip away the excess surface dye and then chemically "lock" what remains. The needed specialized detergent and fixative products will cost another $20 (not to mention the pink sneakers and phone case). The process will take a couple of hours. I suspect the same dry bleeding would happen with other dark colors of these pants. Save yourself the hassle and buy a better, pricier pant in the first place. It’s very disappointing because they fit is great. They do stretch a size or two in the butt and thighs but the waist doesn’t stretch, which is good.
