The major label debut from Knoxville’s Superdrag, Regretfully Yours was released by Elektra in 1996 and introduced the band’s sharp mix of power pop and alt-rock to a wider audience. Featuring the Buzz Bin hit “Sucked Out”—a hooky, biting critique of the music industry—the album reached No. 158 on the Billboard 200 and climbed to No. 17 on the Modern Rock chart.

While some critics noted a polish that softened the raw energy of their earlier work, frontman John Davis’s melodic instincts and bittersweet lyrics kept the album grounded. Originally CD-only, Regretfully Yours finally saw a vinyl release in 2012 through SideOneDummy.
